A salesman is picking up a staggering £3,000 a week from Kleeneze
home care products sold door to door.
Two years ago Chris Mason Paul was a dry cleaning working earning less than £200
a week.
Then he borrowed £50 from his mother-in-law to get a foot in the door.
Now at 37, he earns a staggering £150,000 a year - about £50,000
more than the average British managing director.
He works a 40-hour week, employs a team of 900 agents and has a monthly
turnover of more than £350,000.
The agents work for him on commission of 21-26%, but he gets an extra 4-5%
from the company for boosting the volume of sales.
Chris, from Bristol, takes a percentage of the total take, with the balance
going to the firm. This system has given a big boost to Kleeneze's sales
throughout Britain.
More than 1,000 successful distributors and agents attended a weekend jamboree
in Droitwich near Worcester to celebrate their success.
Kleeneze - once best known for its brushes - now products the prestigious
innovations catalogue.
It will go further up marketing in the Autumn by launching beauty aids.
Boss Nigel Swabey, 37, said: "Two thousand people a month are joining
us and sales are mushrooming."
