Two former North-East shipyard workers claim they are earning more a month
than what they were paid in a year at the docks.
Gavin Scott and Alan Moffat say they are cleaning up on the business they
run from their homes, distributing Kleeneze catalogues featuring personal
and home care products, taking orders and introducing new people to the
set-up.
Between them they reckon they are earning around £200,000 a
year.
Gavin, 26, from Tynemouth, joined the home shopping company in 1992 to pay
off his credit cards and monthly bills of £1,000 after leaving shipyard
work.
He now has a business turning over £8m a year, drives around in a
brand new 5 series BMW, and has a flat worth £130,000.
Alan,42, and his wife Elaine, from Sunderland, faced a growing overdraft
of £3,500 when the recession hit in the early 1990's.
They have since built up their income with Kleeneze to £70,000 a year
on a turnover of £2 million.
Sounds almost too good to be true.
