Network Marketing on the ‘Net’

Wednesday, February 14th, 2007

‘The Net’ and Network Marketing should go hand in hand, but most Kleeneze distributors, and Networkers in general tend to struggle to make the most of Internet technology in their businesses.Anyone familiar with Edward Ludbrook’s work will know his strong feelings about the use of technology in this business.  I totally agree, technology should be embraced and used to it’s fullest if you want your business to grow fast.  Network Marketing is a very simple business, and Kleeneze has one of the simplest and most powerful systems of all, but ignoring the Internet means missing out on a lot of business.

As a lead generation tool the web is phenomenal.   57% of UK households are now online, that is a massive number of people who could be potential prospects for your business, if you can reach them.  Over the next few days I’m going to share with you some basic techniques that will have even the most ardent Ludites among you making use of this amazing communications tool.

New Kleeneze Catalogue - The Outdoor Life

Friday, February 9th, 2007

Kleeneze will be launching a new catalogue in Spring. The soon-to-be-launched Outdoor Life has been created to satisfy people’s interest in enhancing their outdoor space. During spring people want to get outside and do jobs around the garden and exterior of their home, so they’ll have optimal enjoyment of their outdoor space throughout the summer. It was with this in mind that we’ve expanded the number of Garden and DIY products, and given them their own catalogue – Outdoor Life!

This is your chance to whet your customers’ appetites and let them know that there’s a vast range of innovative gardening solutions, hosing ideas, lighting and garden furniture protection that will save them time and, more importantly, elbow grease. These past few months of longer nights have limited people’s pleasure of their gardens, so it’s down to you to let them know that Outdoor Life will soon be along to brighten their day.

Outdoor Life replaces last year’s Spring Specialogue, and should be a massive hit with your Kleenze customers, especially the men who now have so many items aimed at them in the catalogues… No longer are middle aged mums our target customers, there really is something for everyone in the Kleenze range.

Kleeneze to move to new ‘State of the art’ distribution centre

Wednesday, February 7th, 2007

Kleeneze announced yesterday that the head office and warehousing functions are to be moved up to Accrington, to Findel’s state of the art distribution centre.  The move, which is due to take place this summer, will mean that the whole distribution chain will become faster and more efficient, with the aim of getting stock levels to 99.8% in stock at all times.  Kleeneze said:

“At the Accrington site Kleeneze will operate as a separate business unit with no change to the current business model. Therefore with our expertise in the fulfilment of your orders with a 99.98% pick accuracy we are confident together we are on the right road to help you in your quest for growth both in people and sales and therefore income.

The exact timing of the warehouse move has yet to be confirmed due to the complexity of the move; however this will either be by the summer of 2007 or the spring of 2008. We expect to be able to give a firm date by the middle of March.”

This business just keeps getting better and better.  Kleeneze showed us a video of the Accrington warehouse last month and it really does look amazing.  This all means that Kleeneze will not only be the best network marketing opportunity in Europe, but now also one of the most efficient.

The new Enliten vitamin and food supplement range is doing really well right now, as people are thinking about their health around this time of year. One of the products in the range that will help your customers to make great progress with their New Year’s resolutions is the proven weight-loss system Enlite. Exclusive to Kleeneze, Enlite is safe and natural, and helps users to control their appetite. Made from a combination of vitamins, minerals and dietary fibres which release energy, it actively reduces cravings.

Benefits to highlight:

  • Highly effective. Enlite helps eliminate snacking and hunger pangs during the day.
  • Quick and easy. Simply take two tablets twice a day before meals.
  • A healthy option. Enlite supplies 50% of your recommended daily allowance of vitamins and minerals.

Network everywhere

Wednesday, January 31st, 2007

We are in a networking business, we are in the business of networking with people… a people franchise. The old cliché of “It’s not what you know, but who you know” is extremely relevant to us but Tim Conner suggests we can expand that:

  • Success isn’t who you know, but who knows about you.
  • Success is about who knows you and what you know.
  • Success is about who knows you, who knows about you and what you know.

You can know an awful lot of people, but if they know little about you their worth as a contact is limited. To be successful network marketers we need to develop a lot of contacts, and let them know about us and our business. You need to promote yourself and your business at every opportunity.

Who have you met in the last 5 years who could have been beneficial to you, yet you have lost contact with? Make a decision to not only meet new people, but to allow them to get to know you, make sure they know about your business and the opportunity, and stay in contact with them. Many people are not interested in our opportunity when we pitch them, but 6 months or a year down the line their circumstances may change. With email, social networking sites such as friendreunited.co.uk and all the other technology we have, it’s easier than ever to keep in contact, and recontact old friends and associates. At the end of the day, your success in this business will be directly proportional to the number of people you talk to, so why wait to get rich - start talking!

Spring Clean Time…

Sunday, January 28th, 2007

Well that’s it, the end of period 1 and Christmas is now a long lost memory.  Not to fret though as period 2 is traditionally one of the very best of the whole year.  The leads are coming in thick and fast, with too much overspending on Christmas and lots of new years resolutions being set, many people are looking for an opportunity just like ours.

On the retail side things are looking good too, we’re into spring clean time now so products like Oven Mate and Wonderfoam are flying out of the catalogues.  There are still 4 weeks left of the Cannes qualification period too, so take advantage of one of the best retailing and sponsoring months of the year and we’ll see you in Cannes!

Who to coach and train?

Saturday, January 27th, 2007

Those of you who are regular readers of this blog will know I am a big fan of Edward Ludbrook. Of all the books on network marketing, I find Ed’s to be some of the most useful. Coaching is probably the term you’ll hear him say more than any other if you attend one of his seminars, or listen to one of his CDs, but what does coaching really mean and why is it so important?

Coaching is the key to building a strong network, and in turn a residual income. When people join Kleeneze, or any other network marketing business, they will be lacking in certain skills and experience depending on their background. It is our job as leaders to ‘coach’ them, to develop their confidence by helping them to become compentant at the business.

When we are new, we must accept that we do not have all the knowledge and skills. As Rob Forster says we must ‘be teachable’. We learn over time by attending meetings, reading books, and listening to CDs. In short we learn from the mistakes of others so we do not make those same mistakes ourselves. The system in place has been refined over many years, so by learning and following the system we can avoid those mistakes and take a shortcut to success.

The number one shortcut to success is through coaching. Whatever level in the business you are at, you are more experienced than your downline. Therefore you can coach them and help them become more successful. Remember though, your time is precious so you need to be working with your serious people.

Who is serious?

If you have a number of people in your team, it can be difficult to know who you should be spending the most time with. There is however a simple and effective way of knowing which ones are worthy of your time… Work with the ones who work with you! You’ll know the serious ones because they will be calling you, not waiting for your calls. They will be responding to emails and ITS messages. They will be attending the meetings.

Yes, of course you should support everyone in your team. However, it will become clear very quickly which ones are serious about building a business if you don’t pick up the phone for a while – the serious ones will be calling you and asking for your help, those are the ones who will become successful by following your coaching… Work with them and you’ll build a massive business.
