Kleeneze on the telly

Saturday, August 4th, 2007

Last night, the BBC program “Grumpy old women” featured a fantastic segment on Kleeneze.  featuring a diverse, colourful and exceptionally grumpy group of celebrities, including Janet Street-Porter, Jenny Eclair, Sheila Hancock and Ann Widdecombe, the show raved about Kleeneze and how great the catalogue is!  It seems that the celebrities love Kleeneze as much as we do!

The program comes when Kleeneze is already getting lots of media coverage.  From the Channel 4 sponsorship earlier in the year, articles in many of the women’s magazines and also business magazines such as ‘Making money‘, and even a short mention on the BBC sitcom Gavin and Stacey.

The public are more aware than ever of the catalogue and our products, and coupled with the current economical climate and people’s need for an extra income things can only go from strength to strength.

A very clean house - with Kleeneze

Friday, May 18th, 2007

Last night saw the first of the “How clean is your house?” programmes shown on Channel 4. Initial reactions from the network are very positive and the next 12 weeks are going to be very exciting with lots of growth. Do take advantage of this new public awareness and drive your business forward.

How clean is your house?

Never before has Kleeneze been in the public eye to this degree. People who never beore opened the catalogues will be tempted to look after seeing the brand promoted in this way. Similarly, people who before were not intested in the Kleeneze business may be tempted to take a closer look now. This is an incredibly exciting time for everyone involved in the Kleeneze network. Make sure you take advantage!

How Clean is Your House? Channel 4, 8pm, 17 May 2007

Kleeneze’s anticipated sponsorship of Channel 4’s How Clean is Your House gets underway next month. To coincide with the sponsorship campaign, Kleeneze have been appealing to the network for cleaning tips and ideas.  Whether it’s a secret method for busting grime or a handy way of eliminating household nasties, Kleeneze want to hear from you!

It may be that your tip simply involves a concoction of readily available household ingredients, as favoured by Kim and Aggie, the “Queens of Cleanâ€?; but if you can recommend an indispensable Kleeneze product then so much the better. The tips will be used to help promote Kleeneze’s connection with the show.

The PR campaign surrounding the sponsorship is now in motion and has generated substantial interest from well-known industry titles such as Marketing Magazine. Ultimately, the intention is to raise maximum awareness of the Kleeneze brand amongst its core audience. As Patrick Jolly said at the New Year Conference: “We are going to shout Kleeneze from the rooftops!”

The campaign will spearhead a massive drive in brand awareness.  Never before will the Kleeneze brand have had such media exposure and sales and recruitment is sure to take a massive upturn in the coming months.  An 84 yeat established brand name, already known and trusted by 70% of the population, Kleeneze will be taken to new heights as the business drives ahead into the future.

Key workers in the UK cannot afford to buy homes

Tuesday, April 17th, 2007

The Halifax report last week announced that public sector workers such as teachers, nurses, police and firefighters cannot afford to buy homes in seven out of 10 UK towns. The report stated that while property was most unafforable in London and the South-East, the gap between wages and property prices was also growing in other areas of the country.

Of 517 towns and local authorities surveyed by the bank, 363 (70%) were deemed unaffordable. In 2002, just over a third of towns were beyond the means of public sector workers looking to buy property, last year that figure rose to 65%.

While these figures are dire reading for first time buyers, a silver lining for anyone in our industry is the fact that there has never been more need for an extra income in most households.  A job is unlikely to provide enough income for most people to get onto the housing ladder and so home based businesses such as Kleeneze are going to boom over the next few years.  Proff again that this is the ‘right place, at the right time’.

Kleeneze in the media - Right place, right time

Sunday, March 25th, 2007

Kleeneze’s television advertising campaign is fast approaching and I can’t wait to see what difference it makes to the public’s perception of the business. There has been a lot of positive press in the media over the past few years, with many newspaper articles about successful Kleeneze distributors at all levels in the payplan. However, the power of television is about to take the business to a whole new level.

Many authors on the subject of Network Marketing, especially Edward Ludbrook, talk about being in the ‘right place at the right time’. Well, it’s very clear to me that there never has been a better time to start a Kleeneze business. It’s no surprise that house prices in the UK are at an all time high, inflation is rising, fuel prices continue to climb, and the very idea of a ‘disposable income’ is, for many people, a fantasy. Couple that need with Findel’s acquisition and massive improvements to the catalogue, stock levels and distribution chain and you have a very compelling argument, but add the TV advertising into the equation and there really is no argument: There has never been a better time to join Kleeneze.

When the adverts start running I predict at least a 20% increase in return from blanket drops in new areas. There will also be a surge of people searching for Kleeneze on the web, looking for information on the products and the business opportunity. Make sure you and your team are ready to take advantage, you may never have this opportunity again!

UK Budget - What it means to a Kleeneze distributor

Wednesday, March 21st, 2007

“Whatever happens, one thing will be the same: The UK is becoming far too expensive to live in.”

This was a quote I found on the BBC news website today, about Gordon Brown’s eleventh and probably final budget. Many of the changes were easily predicted: 2 pence on fuel, 1 pence on beer and cider, 11 on cigarettes. As predicted there is to be a major increase on road tax for ‘Gas guzzlers”. 4×4 drivers will have their tax increased to £300 this year and £400 next year, although owners of greener cars will actually pay less.

A surprise to many, 2 pence has been cut from the basic rate of income tax. However, by abolishing the low rate of 10 pence most people are not likely to see any benefit from this. Corporation tax is also cut by 2 pence but again, that does little for the average person.

As the quote above aptly states, the UK is becoming a more and more expensive place to live. Compare things like fuel tax or house prices to those of our French or American cousins and you can easily see why so many people in this country are looking for an extra income, a way to bring in a little extra money. For anyone involved in Network Marketing this is a golden opportunity. We have the answer to the question on everyone’s lips - the way to an increased income and a better lifestyle. Coupled with Kleeneze’s new TV advertising campaign, there is no doubt that this is the ‘right place at the right time’.

House prices continue to rise… Kleeneze is a solution for many

Saturday, February 24th, 2007

It’s a common headline that everyone in the UK has become very used to; but the fact is that average prices are still on the up.  A report from the Halifax stated that in 236 postcode areas, mainly in London and south-east England, the average house price now tops £300,000.

While house prices have risen an average of 7% per year since 1973 (when Nationwide started tracking prices) the average wage has not.  More people than ever are now struggling to get onto the housing ladder, and Kleeneze has their answer.

The Halifax reports that, “if current trends continue, 4.3 million homes will be worth more than the IHT threshold [£300,000] by 2020.”

People are worried.  People are struggling to find the money to buy a house… we have a solution to their problem.  Our job is to educate people, to let people know that a home based business, run in their spare time, can solve their financial conundrum.  Get your adverts out there, get talking to people and see your Kleeneze business grow.

Kleeneze in the media

Sunday, November 12th, 2006

Take a Break, a popular weekly consumer magazine, will feature a Kleeneze competition later in the month – bringing the Kleeneze name to over one million readers. The November 23 issue will give ten people the chance to win a Christmas gift selection worth £200, meanwhile selling the benefits of the products and the Opportunity to the magazine’s 1,082,051 largely women readers. The magazine appeals to an audience with an interest in food, lifestyle, women’s interest, beauty, fashion and cosmetics. The article will also feature a link to the Kleeneze website.

Kleeneze are creating more opportunities for consumers to see their range of catalogues and products with the aim of helping distributors to increase their customer base and sponsorship opportunities. The November 30 issue of Pick Me Up magazine will also feature a competition.

With the magazine articles, the sports event sponsorship, the recent Findel aquisition, the new Cabouchon jewellery range and many more exciting changes, the Kleeneze opportunity really looks set to explode in the new year. Take advantage by laying the foundations now. Make use of the increased Christmas sales, and let everyone know about this amazing opportunity.

Pensions plummet two thirds in ten years!

Wednesday, September 20th, 2006

Many, many people join our business as an alternative pension plan.  It’s hardly news that the UK has a pension crisis on it’s hands but today’s story in the Telegraph really gets to the hard facts.

“A 65-year-old man who had paid into a with-profits pension fund at £500 a year for 25 years would have received an annual income of £13,466 if he had retired in 1996. A man in the same situation today would receive less than a third of that income, at just £3,975 a year.”

Now you can live on nearly 14 grand a year, but how on earth do you get by on under four?

While the rest of the population read stories like this with despair we see an opportunity for growth.  There are millions of people in the UK at the moment worried about their financial future, and worried about retirement.  We offer a near perfect solution where they can build a very solid ‘pension’ by developing a Kleeneze business which can pay them royalty bonuses every month for the rest of their lives.

With the oldest Kleeneze distributor I know of at the grand age of 85, I wonder how many pensioners, and those coming up towards penionable age will be joining in the next few years… quite a lot I think!

Kleening Up - The Sun newspaper

Saturday, December 31st, 2005

Those of you who read The Sun would have seen yesterday’s article but for those who don’t here it is:

Kleening Up

CATALOGUE shopping firm KLEENEZE is giving away 11 new cars to its top distributors.

The seven BMW 3 series and four Mini Coopers will be awarded at a conference next month attended by 2,000 of the firm’s sales people.

Most started out putting catalogues through doors and now run their own teams of workers.

The ex-teacher, 53, from Billericay, Essex, said: “Big sellers when I started in 1992 were silly things like apple corers. These days things to do with health and beauty have come to the fore.

Another successful distributor is Chris Mason-Paull, 49, of Saltford, Bristol. The former dry cleaner runs a team of 2,745 people — and took home £212,751 last year.

The firm is owned by EUROPEAN HOME RETAIL, which also owns web site Iwantoneofthose.com and eeZee, the home shopping TV channel.

I’ve also scanned the article and you can see it here

Sounds like it will be one fantastic conference (although I think there will be a few more than 2000 attending)… see you there!
