Positioning is the image your prospects have of the company/opportunity in their minds. It includes all the preconceptions and their prior knowledge of the business, mixed with the information you provide. This can have a massive influence on whether or not they decide to join your team.

We are in a competitive market. Kleeneze may be the best income opportunity in the UK, and even Europe today, but there are many other businesses such as Avon, FLP, Herbalife, Merglio etc. which we need to compete with. By positioning the Kleeneze opportunity correctly we can ensure that we are appealing to our prospects wants and desires.

Prospects will tend to position the business badly, unless we influence their thinking by giving them the bigger picture. Many people see Kleeneze as just a catalogue business, something for unemployed or retired people to do in order to earn a few extra pounds. They don’t normally realise the incomes and the lifestyles available so we have to help them.

The world of Kleeneze, with foreign conferences, cars, incomes, lifestyles etc. is very different to the world of blue bags and soggy books that the average prospect may envisage when positioning the business in their mind’s eye. By showing them what is really available we can help them to position the business positively.

As sponsors it is our job to ensure that not only do prospects get the facts, but that they truly see what is available, that way they can position Kleeneze properly and make an informed decision about joining. Paint a word picture that sees the Kleeneze business opportunity as something to aspire to, a unique, trustworthy, attractive business opportunity which could be the vehicle they use to transform their lives.

Remember : Bad positioning will ensure failure, good positioning will set you up for success.

Gold distributor status is a major milestone in the business, it really is where it all starts. Since Gold is the building block of every large organisation if you can get to Gold, and show others how to do the same you can achieve any level in the Kleeneze payplan.

Gold status is achieved by reaching a turnover of 7500BP (approx £8800) in a four week period. It can be done through personal retail alone but would typically require a small team of 10 - 15 downline distributors. While the majority of this turnover will be done via the catalogues, don’t forget there are other ways to increase your sales.

• Equitalk - The Kleeneze home phone and broadband service not only allows you to make free calls to your downline, and reduced rate calls to your friends, family and prospects, but you can also earn extra income from the service.
• Cabouchon jewellery - The new Cabouchon catalogue is great but why limit this fantastic range to catalogue sales, demo the product to your customers, show it to friends and family, or try party plan to increase those sales.
• Enliten - We had great success earlier in the year with our slimming products, but the new Enliten range looks to top that. Us ethe promotional flyers and get those sales racking up. Since these are consumables a single customer will ensure regular repeat business.
• Demonstrate products - Great for the Christmas cover product, but suitable any time of the year. keep some demo products in the car to show your customers while making deliveries.
• Label consumables - When a customer reaches the bottom of a bottle they will want to buy another. Make sure your consumables have your contact labels on so they call YOU to buy their next bottle.

It’s only a month until Christmas so now is the time to be sending cards to your prospects and loyal customers. This business is all about great customer service and the ‘personal touch’. If you prove your committment and level of service to your customers now, with the small gesture of a hand written card, you will be rewarded with great customer loyalty thoughout the new year.

Remember too that a card to prospects who have shown an interest in the business already is a great way of reminding them about the fantastic Kleeneze opportunity. While the time wasn’t right for them when you first approached them about the business, many people have money (or lack of it) on their minds at this time of year. Plant the seeds now that will enable you to reap the benefits through 2007… Keep charging!

The magazine appeals to an audience with an interest in food, lifestyle, women’s interest, beauty, fashion and cosmetics. The article will also feature a link to the Kleeneze website.

Kleeneze are creating more opportunities for consumers to see their range of catalogues and products with the aim of helping distributors to increase their customer base and sponsorship opportunities. The November 30 issue of Pick Me Up magazine will also feature a competition.

With the magazine articles, the sports event sponsorship, the recent Findel aquisition, the new Cabouchon jewellery range and many more exciting changes, the Kleeneze opportunity really looks set to explode in the new year. The main Kleeneze catalogue and the Christmas catalogue are now online in a funky Flash format.  Make sure your customers know about this new feature and how to use it.  Try writing a customer newsletter to let them know they can browse the products online, and call or email you with their orders.

Do you ever speak to a prospect who says, “Oh it’s Kleeneze (or FLP, Amyway, Herbalife etc.), if I’d known that I wouldn’t have bothered calling for an info pack�? or “I’m not interested in putting catalogues through letterboxes – I’m looking for something else�?

Well using the “Feel, Felt, Found” method you can quickly and easily get that prospect to relate to you, get a rapport going and get them, hopefully, to look at the opportunity properly. Try something along these lines:

I know exactly how you feel, I felt the same way myself. I thought that this was just a catalogue job for people who wanted to earn a little extra pocket money. I had no idea that it was a proper network marketing business, or of the kind of potential incomes people were earning. There’s no way a couple of years ago I’d have even considered it, but after being shown the opportunity in detail, what I found was that the reality is very different from what I had perceived.

By empathising with them, and letting them know that you felt the same at first but changed your ideas after looking at your business opportunity property, it helps them to see you in a different light. They feel that you have a shared experience and that maybe there is something worth checking out – maybe if they look at the opportunity in detail then they may see what they had missed before and, like yourself, find that the reality of the business is very different to how they had perceived it.

Feel, Felt, Found is one of the key ideas that will help you get through to more prospects so try it yourself, practice using it in real situations and believe it – I’m sure that most people really did perceive the business very different before they joined than once they started sponsoring. The best way to make it sounds natural and believable, is to really feel and believe it yourself!
